Nazareth and Mount Tabor

I don’t have much pictures of Nazareth itself, because we weren’t in the city for most of the time. But here are some:

Isn’t she cute?!

We went to the Greek Orthodox Church of the Annunciation. As you can see below:

And we went to the Basilica of the Annunciation, a catholic church. It’s quite cool because it’s a church built over the original church to protect it. So when you enter it’s like “wow”. It’s so big and with two different floors. On the ground floor or as it’s a bit below it the “grotto” is the original church and on the second one there is a newer church for bigger services.

After so many churches we went to an old spice mill in the centre of the city. It was really fantastic seeing so many different spices in such a small place ;)

We also did a hiking trip from Nazareth to the Mount Tabor. It wouldn’t have been that far, if we just found our way on the first try =) But what are scouts for ;)

But being on top of the mountain was worth it! Although it was very windy we did enjoy the view and a really delicious Barbeque.

Till next time ;)
